Marcopolo SA has taken a controlling shareholding in Metalsur Carrocerías S.R.L., a manufacturer of coach bodies, located in Santa Fe, Argentina by increasing its shareholding in Metalsur, from 25%, which it acquired in 2012 to 70%.

Volare SA has announced a record year in export sales  of 535 vehicles for 2018 since it started its export activities some 20 years ago.

Marcopolo SA has reported consolidated net revenue of BRA4.197bn (USD1.1bn) in 2018, an increase of 45.9% on revenues of BRA2.866bn (USD750m) recorded in 2017.
