Tokyo-based Toyota Motor Corporation, worldwide partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, is to support the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, by developing a special new product, the APM, a battery electric mobility vehicle designed expressly for use at the Games.

Toyota Motor Corporation and Panasonic Corporation have concluded contracts for business-integration and for a new joint-venture company for automotive battery R&D and manufacture.
