Hino Motors USA has appointed Davey Jung to the position of President, CEO and Chairman of the Board effective immediately. Jung succeeds outgoing President, Masamichi Mizukoshi who is retiring.

Dr Gruner brings with him 25 years of experience in the industry, having worked for Porsche and Mercedes-Benz in marketing and strategy roles.

Vesco spent much of his 30-year career working at Wisconsin-based logistics firm Schneider National Inc.

Phillips says the restructure will encourage greater collaboration and cohesiveness across the company.

Corinne Aaron has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer taking over from Linnéa Kornehed Falck, who will be focusing on her new role as Deputy CEO and Executive Member of the Board. 

Over the past decade, Svanberg has overseen the development of battery electric vehicles, covering every segment under the group’s various truck and bus brands.

The official handover will take place on September 1, 2023. Bosmans has been at DAF for 19 years and has held positions in operations, quality control and sales, including the key position of Director of Operations for PACCAR Financial Europe.

Lohscheller will be replaced by Board Chairman Stephen Girsky, a former General Motors executive. Girsky will remain on the Board of Directors and Steve Shindler, a Director since October 2020, will serve as Chairman of the Board. 

She will replace Tom Linebarger, who will leave his role as Executive Chairman and Chair of the Board.

The aim is to increase road safety and to improve job satisfaction to increase driver retention throughout the country.

Backman will replace the incumbent CFO, Jan Ytterberg, in the second half of this year.
