Peterbilt Motors has supplied Werner Enterprises with a Model 579EV for its battery electric-powered truck pilot programme.

Peterbilt Motors Company and Dana Incorporated announced at the CES event in Las Vegas this month their collaboration on electric powertrain development for the Peterbilt Model 220EV battery electric vehicles.

Peterbilt Motors Company expects to have no fewer than 30 pre-production medium and heavy-duty trucks in operation by the end of this year.
