Randon's new automation and digitalization division, RTS has acquired a controlling stake (80%) in the robotics automation division of Auttom for BRA14 million.

Trailer builder and components supplier to the CV industry, Empresas Randon S.A. has released its latest Environmental, Social and Governance report, which among its core goals include a 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and double the number of women in leadership positions by 2025.

Randon S/A Implementos e Participações has made its first export of platform semi-trailers to Senegal. The deal marks the resumption of export business to the African continent in 2021 for the trailer division and in May, there will be another shipment to Senegal, but this time of tank and tipping trailers.

Gross profit reached BRA150.6m (USD28m), 80% higher than the third quarter of 2019, while EBITDA totalled BRA94.2m (USD18m), an increase of 118%. It was the best quarter of the last ten years for the company, Fras-le announced.

The trailer and truck body builder and components supplier achieved net profits of BRA116m and net revenue of BRA1.5bn.
