The first VDL Citea SLFA-180 Electric has entered service in Orléans and is operated by Keolis Métropole Orléans. 

VDL Bus & Coach has won a contract to supply 43 Citea Electrics to operator, Qbuzz, for deployment in Emmen, Assen and Groningen.

VDL Bus & Coach has expanded its Citea Electric bus range with the Light Low Entry length variant measuring 11.5 metres.
