Zeus said it is proud to be able to offer “a U.S.-manufactured aluminum cab with design origins in fire truck construction methods” to customers, starting in California.

The Class 5 vehicle will launch with two-wheel drive, a new cab, and a new 800V electrical architecture.

The bucket truck was fitted with a ‘Hi-Ranger LT40’ aerial work platform from Terex which is powered independently of the vehicle battery, while the box truck was built by Marion Body Works.

Pegasus will build Type A school bus and shuttle bus bodies on the Z-19 cab-chassis platform, which is a medium-duty electric chassis manufactured by Zeus, and then sell them through Creative Bus Sales’s extensive sales network.

The American electric cab-chassis manufacturer has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with private equity firm Boss Capital Holdings to collaborate in marketing commercial electric vehicles in Australia. 

The two companies will jointly develop a new series of Class 4-6 electric trucks built on ZEC chassis and fitted with bodies by EAVX.
