CV builder, Scania AB has launched a new V8 engine series and new gearbox.

Scania’s kneeling L-series truck designed for urban applications is now available with the 6.7-litre, six cylinder Scania DC07 engine as an option to the original nine-litre, five cylinder DC09.

Isuzu Motors Ltd has announced progress with discussions for a partnership with US diesel engine manufacturer, Cummins Inc, culminating in the two companies signing an agreement to form the Isuzu-Cummins Powertrain Partnership at the end of May.

Cummins do Brasil Ltda has announced it is already ready to meet the new Euro VI / Proconve P8 emission standards for diesel vehicles, which are scheduled to come into effect during 2022 and 2023.
