HÜBNER Group uses Busworld to announce diversified business and expanded product portfolio and services for the bus industry

A diversified product offering by the Hubner Group

Germany / Belgium - “HÜBNER is more than just a supplier of articulated bus systems,” announced Uwe Bittroff, Managing Director of the HÜBNER Group of Kassel at Busworld Europe last month. “As a global supplier, we offer our customers integrated, customized solutions – solutions that make buses and commercial vehicles safer, more comfortable, more convenient and reliable – just as we do for rail vehicles as well.”

The company used the show to demonstrate the breadth and depth of its competencies and product portfolio and stated that the diversity of products offered by the HÜBNER Group made its portfolio unique. These include:

• Technologies for chassis with systems for damping, suspension, steering and wheel guidance as well as hydropneumatic solutions.

• Door safety and sealing systems with finger protection profiles including sensors and sealing systems.

• Convenient and comfortable entry systems for customers and passengers with ramps and lifts.

• New offerings in the area After Sales & Service for consulting, spare parts support, inspections, maintenance, repairs and training.

• Engineering and software services with solutions for functional safety and cyber-security as well control units for steering of axles in buses and trucks.

• Articulated bus systems (‘1.6 metres of the bus’) with articulation systems, folding bellows as well as power guidance systems.

The HÜBNER Group has been developing this range of expanded components and systems over recent years through in-house organic development, but this has often followed strategic acquisitions of key technology companies along the way such as V.S.E. in the Netherlands and ATG in Germany.

The HÜBNER Group is a family-owned company, that today has a global network of more than 30 production and sales locations and subsidiaries. These atributes, the company suggests, allows for a high level of production and delivery reliability as well as in-depth technical and interdisciplinary exchange across the transport sector.

• HÜBNER Transportation (Kassel, Germany)

• ATG Autotechnik (Siek, Germany)
