IAA Transportation 2024: Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 wins International Truck of the Year 2025

The Mercedes-Benz eActros 600
Germany – At IAA Transportation 2024, held between 17-22 September in Hanover, the ‘International Truck of the Year’ award for 2025 was given to Daimler Truck AG for its battery electric ‘Mercedes-Benz eActros 600’, which enters series production at the end of this year.
Commercial vehicle journalists from 24 countries in Europe voted to award Daimler Truck the top spot. The jury praised the concept of the truck, which was first unveiled at the last IAA Transportation event in 2022: originally called ‘eActros Long Haul’, the idea was to develop a truck capable of covering up to 500 kilometres on a single charge.
