Daimler Trucks North America Inc (a division of Daimler Truck AG of Stuttgart, Germany) has launched an all new Western Star 49X truck.

September 2020 marks a year of Daimler Trucks North America Inc and Torc Robotics working together after the US-based automated driving technology company became part of Daimler Trucks’ Autonomous Technology Group.

Western Star Trucks announced delivery of its 200,000th truck in the USA.

Daimler Trucks North America Inc and Torc Robotics (a remote-control, digital-control, and autonomous robotics technologies and systems provider and subsidiary of Daimler) are actively developing and testing automated trucks with SAE Level 4 intent technology on public roads.

Daimler Trucks North America Inc delivered the first vehicle from its Freightliner Electric Innovation Fleet – a Freightliner eM2 – to Penske Truck Leasing last month (December 2018).
