Workhorse’s step vans will be installed with telematics hardware and integrated with the ‘MyGeotab’ platform.

REE claims that the integration of its cloud platform with Geotab’s data analysis will provide “real-time actionable insights” which will help operators to improve overall fleet performance and therefore reduce their costs.

BYD trucks imported into Europe will be equipped with both Geotab’s hardware and software, that collects and transmits vehicle data which includes safety analytics, trip data, zone activity, electric vehicle statistics, exception events, GPS tracking, and more.

The system works by tapping into the vehicle’s Controller Area Network (CAN) and then any seatbelt violations prompt drivers to buckle up by sending an instant notification to the dashboard. This ensures compliance with laws and enhances safety.
