HERE announced its partnership with 15 commercial vehicle (CV) manufacturers representing 30 brands, on Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) technology to reduce speeding under the European Union’s (EU) new regulation requiring drivers to have the legal speed limit constantly displayed on the dashboard.

The GPS navigation software will include a range prediction feature and a proprietary geocode system which assigns an identifying string of random words to 3m2 coordinates.
