Dutch trailer manufacturer Knapen Group of Deurne, The Netherlands (a subsidiary of Krone Commercial Vehicles Group), has announced that Peter Ahlers will step down as Managing Director of the company.

Krone Commercial Vehicle Group has signed an agreement to acquire all the shares of the Dutch moving floor trailer builder, Knapen Group, and includes its subsidiaries Knapen Trailers BV, Knapen Service BV and Trailned BV.

Fahrzeugwerk Bernard Krone GmbH & Co KG is doubling its production capacity for swap bodies and Dry Liners at its production plant in Herzlake.
