Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda has introduced two new light-duty models of its Delivery truck range in Paraguay.

The new production unit is located within an existing MANN+HUMMEL plant and near its main customer. The plant is to be digitally connected with lean manufacturing principals focused on reducing waste.

Scania do Brasil Ltda has announced it is to invest a further BRA1.4bn (USD350m) in upgrading its plant in São Bernardo do Campo over the next three years from 2021 to 2024.
