The ‘Permalite Apex’ is a thin 14-inch light strip which can be mounted in the upper corners of a dry box or refrigerated trailer, putting it out of the way of potential damage by forklifts and other loading equipment.

The 15.65-metre-long trailers have a 60-pallet capacity, increasing a standard double-deck trailer capacity by 8 pallets, thereby improving operational efficiency.

Opened in September 2013, this facility has been servicing local demand and has been supplying 31 different countries in Europe, the Middle and Far East, Africa and South America for over a decade. Krone says that 63 per cent of the trailers produced at this factory are for export.

The ‘TracKing Pro’ expands on the basic offering which is installed as standard in all ‘Precedent’ transport refrigeration units since 2018.
