Dutch bus builder Ebusco Holding N.V. based in Deurne, The Netherlands, has announced that its 3.0 model has become the first composite bus to achieve EU Vehicle Type Approval.

Dutch bus manufacturer Ebusco Holding BV of Deurne, has announced the appointment of Ted Dowling to the role of Managing Director for North America. The company aims to expand sales and marketing of its 3.0 and 2.2 zero emission buses.

The Ebusco 3.0, which is approximately 33% lighter than the previous Ebusco model, enters production and will be delivered from April 2022.

Electric bus producer, Ebusco Holding BV of Deurne has appointed Bob Fleuren to head its Production and Project Management departments. A specialist in lightweight composites technology, Fleuren gained experience from the aerospace industry via roles within the Dutch Royal Air Force and aircraft manufacturer Fokker, among others.

Deurne-based electric bus manufacturer, Ebusco, has commenced road trials with its first Ebusco 2.2, 18m articulated buses.

Electric bus builder and depot charger system supplier, Ebusco, is working with Rocsys Bv, a supplier of plug-in robots, to automate bus charging in depots through robotisation.

Dutch electric bus builder, Ebusco NV has reached an agreement with the University of New South Wales for joint research and development of electric vehicles in Australia.

Ebusco NV says it is to deliver 13, 12m low-floor Ebusco 2.2 electric buses to Transdev Rhein-Main GmbH  in December 2020 to replace current diesel buses.

Ebusco NV has announced it is establishing a direct sale and after sales network in Australia and other markets in Asia Pacific.

At the request of the customer, Connexxion, electric bus builder, Ebusco NV, is to fit cameras on all 156 new, electric buses, instead of normal wing mirrors, destined for Amstelland-Meerlanden and Haarlem-Ijmond concessions later this year.

Ebusco, a company started in 2010 dedicated to the manufacture of electric buses using European sourced electric driveline technologies with buses built in China, from  the middle  of 2020 plans to start manufacturing its battery electric buses completely in Europe.
