The 2024 Transpotec Logitec Exhibition took place in the Fiera Milano, Italy, from 8 – 11 May.

DTNA announced it has rolled out its “circular economy approach” to battery recycling, remanufacturing and repurposing of its lithium-ion CV battery packs. As part of its carbon reduction goals, the approach aims to extend the usability of its batteries and reuse rare-earth materials in the production of new products.

The partnership was announced at the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit, which was held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi between 20 and 22 May.

Aidrivers will contribute its expertise in developing autonomous driving software, while ZF’s Mobility Solutions division will act as engineering partner, handling integration, validation, and deployment of the technology.

Karsan has signed a local distribution and aftersales agreement with KMobility S.R.L. This, according to CEO Okan Baş will help strengthen its aftersales services and spare parts distribution ecosystem in Italy.

Capable of handling up to 1400 amps and 900 volts, the Eaton Bussmann series of high-powered  fuses are customisable, meaning they can be tailored to particular specifications. Paralleling multiple fuses can increase current capability.

Currently in series production in Joliet, Illinois, the 127,000 pound (or 57.6 tonnes GVW) truck is powered by a TM4 Sumo electric powertrain from Dana and is fitted with a 630 kWh battery pack which provides a range of 275 miles (440kms) on a single charge.

Available on ChargePoint’s Power Link 2000 stations, the system is capable of dispensing 1.2 megawatts (MW), enough electricity to power 1,000 homes. Furthermore, the system supports bidirectional charging capabilities, allowing customers increased flexibility.

BP Pulse will integrate its proprietary charging software (Omega) into EV Connect chargers to more efficiently manage duty cycles, charging times and energy management requirements which, in theory, should minimise vehicle charging times and reduce costs.

The Series B investments bring the Canadian startup’s total invested capital to USD280m.

Geotab will integrate Rivian’s fleet telematics data into the MyGeotab platform, enabling fleet managers to more accurately optimise fleet performance and plan routes.

The facility is fully digitally controlled and is equipped with advanced storage systems, including gravity spiral and vertical reciprocating conveyors.
