From May 2023, ContiTech will be divided into three regional business areas: Industrial Solutions Americas, Industrial Solutions APAC (Asia & Pacific) and Industrial Solutions EMEA (Europe & Middle East).

Having invested GBP 100 million in a project to produce super-efficient hydrogen engines, this multi-year project has reached a major production milestone with its 50th hydrogen combustion engine coming off the group engine line in Foston, UK.

The production facility will be built by Hygen Energy, an Oxford-based firm led by Wrightbus owner and Chairman Jo Bamford.

The project brings together a consortium led by HVS and includes Fusion Processing and Asda.

According to EKA, the decision was made due to the extended product life this will add to the vehicle making it more sustainable and valuable to operators.
