JOST has revealled two innovations for improving trailer coupling and road safety: the JOST King Pin Finder and the Rockinger Drawbar Finder.

Solutrans 2023 was held between 21-25 November at Eurexpo in Lyon, France. Over 1,000 exhibitors and 50,000 guests gathered for the 17th edition of this historic show, centred around the European heavy and light commercial vehicle industry.

Roland Ramirez, Director Program Management Global BusLink at JOST said that the launch date of BusLink in Europe with an unnamed large European OEM was set for 2025.

The KKS-U Connector allows the driver to couple a semi-trailer via remote control from inside the cab, increasing safety and saving time. Jost says that this product is aimed at transport companies that often perform coupling processes and drive short distances.

Jost JV in Brazil displayed the Jost Bus Link Articulation at Fenatran 2022 in November marking its debut in this components supply segment.

The company opened its first sales branch in Dubai, the UAE, expanding its global sales network by specifically bringing its full product range to the middle eastern markets.

Jost-Werke AG of Neu-Isenburg, Germany, a manufacturer and supplier of coupling components for trucks and trailers has been bought by investment fund management company, sold Edbro Ltd of Bolton, UK to Enact and its fund manager, Endless LLP of Leeds, UK for an undisclosed sum.

Following the launch at Solutrans in November 2019, Jost-Werke GmbH has been rolling out an easy assemble ‘Plug & Play’ tyre inflation system with fast installation to reduce costs for truck operators.
