Pinnacle Mobility, which sells vehicles under the brand name, EKA Mobility, is an electric bus as well as a light and medium-duty electric truck builder.

The company’s three other Re.Wi.Re registered vehicle scrapping facilities are in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar and Surat.

The plant, which is located in an industrial suburb of Chennai (called Oragadam), will produce various electrical components for CV chassis and, in the near future, air compressors for light- and medium-duty vehicles.

This involves implementation of comprehensive annual sales, maintenance and service contracts by dedicated Tata service teams.

The delivery is part of a mega order in May 2022 for 5,450 electric buses: with DTC taking 1,500 units.

The plan is to work together to ensure industry-leading vehicle engineering, data integration and safety features are incorporated in these buses.
