The company said the design philosophy of the new XD was built on the same values as the “International Truck of the Year 2022” winning XF and XG long-haul commercial vehicles, in terms of driver comfort, quality, efficiency and safety.

20 LF Electric rigid trucks from Eindhoven-based DAF Trucks N.V. have begun testing as part of the Battery Electric Truck Trial (BETT), funded by the Department for Transport (DfT).

The components division of DAF Trucks N.V. is set to supply 100 PACCAR MX-11 engines to Turkish bus manufacturer Otokar. The Euro VI engines will be fitted to 100 Otokar Metrobuses for operation in Istanbul.
