Einride has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Norwegian postal service, PostNord, to electrify 1,500km of Norwegian highway to bring zero-emission transport to the market.

Einride has ordered the XD Electric “in a wide range of specifications”, which the company says it will use for various customers.

Einride has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) to deploy 8 electric vehicle charging stations (500 charging points) over 550 km, with 2,000 electric delivery vehicles (of which 200 will be autonomous) across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah over the next five years.

The money will be used to bolster its range of vehicles as it expands into new markets across Europe and North America.

BYD has recieved an order for 200 Class 8 battery electric trucks from Swedish technology firm Einride. Bearing specialist, SKF Group of Gothenburg to reduce its use of fossil fuels, is to test a self-driving electric truck together with Stockholm-based technology company, Einride AB, on a public road between the factory and the warehouse in Gothenburg. Einride which builds complete vehicles was the first company in the world to operate an electric self-driving truck on public roads for commercial purposes in 2018.
