Peterbilt Motors Company, part of Paccar Inc, alongside its four new medium truck models, has launched the all-new Paccar TX-8 automatic transmission with updated Paccar PX engines.

Peterbilt Motors Company of Denton, Texas, part of Paccar Inc, has launched a new range of medium-duty trucks, Model 535 and Model 536, designed for the Class 5/6 non-CDL (non-commercial driver-licence) lease and rental markets.

Truck manufacturer, Paccar Inc of Bellevue, Washington, and Aurora Innovations Inc of Eugene, Oregon have signed a global strategic agreement to develop, test and commercialise autonomous Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks.

Paccar Inc of Bellevue, Washington, has entered a five-year supply agreement for battery power systems with Romeo Power Inc, headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

Paccar Inc and Aurora Innovation Inc have signed a global strategic partnership agreement to develop, test and commercialise autonomous, Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks.

Reporting an 81st year of continuous profits, truck builder, Paccar Inc achieved record revenues of USD25.6bn for the year ending December 31, 2019 and an increase of 8.9% compared with USD23.50bn in 2018 and USD19.46bn in 2017.

“Paccar reported record annual revenues and profitability in 2018 and has achieved an impressive 80 consecutive years of net income,” said Ron Armstrong, chief executive officer of Paccar Inc, truck builder under the Peterbilt, Kenworth and DAF Trucks brands.
