The Czech company is pilot testing Škoda E’City buses ordered by Prague Public Transit Co in February 2021, using existing power lines in the capital city for charging via pantograph.

Bratislava-based battery manufacturing start-up, InoBat Auto, has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group. Bernard Krone Holding SE & Co KG of Spelle, Germany, has released its financial results for the financial year 2020/2021. The Krone Group generated sales of EUR2.2 billion, up 15.7% on the EUR1.9 billion of the previous year. The group’s profits stood at 4.4% of sales, a doubling of the previous year’s 2.2% result.

Larbert, Scotland-based bus and coach builder Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc, has announced it is restarting production of Plaxton coaches at its factory in Scarborough. Production had been temporarily paused after the coronavirus pandemic caused a drop in demand.

Columbus, Indiana-based powertrain manufacturer, Cummins Inc, has completed a 50% equity acquisition of Momentum Fuel Technologies from Rush Enterprises.

Kenworth Truck Co (a subsidiary of Paccar Inc), headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, has debuted its fully electric T680E Class 8 truck at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The T680E is the first Class 8 electric truck that the firm has produced.
