Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Akron has launched its new Fuel Max RSD tyre with enhanced fuel efficiency, mileage and traction for super-regional driving fleets.

Announcing that in 2021, the German Federal Government intends to further promote investments in modern trailer technologies as part of the ‘Fleet Renewal Programme for Commercial Vehicles’, Europe’s largest trailer builder Schmitz Cargobull AG is offering a tyre pressure monitoring system to tipper trailer operators; it is well known that under-inflated tyres or tyre pressure not matching the load on any vehicle can waste fuel and increase carbon footprint.

Following the launch at Solutrans in November 2019, Jost-Werke GmbH has been rolling out an easy assemble ‘Plug & Play’ tyre inflation system with fast installation to reduce costs for truck operators.

Giti's claim this tyre follows a four-year design and test period on several different fleet types across various diverse sectors.
