Schmitt will oversee the company sales, commercial operations, dealerships, service, and marketing.

Jones will lead the development of DAF’s electric vehicle (EV) programme in the UK, overseeing sales, aftersales, the dealer network’s EV strategy and the rollout of charging infrastructure. 

James Taylor will replace outgoing CEO and Founder Robert Bollinger who will continue as a board member. Furthermore, Bryan Chambers has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer (CFO) whilst Siva Kumar has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice president of Finance.

As head of Commercial Operations, Kayser is tasked with leading the sales and marketing areas of the business.

Hornyak joins the company from Brightdrop, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer and acting CEO.

Bangston, who replaces Jeff Sather in the leadership role at FCCC, will lead the two DTNA subsidiaries under a new structure where he is responsible for key business areas in Specialty Vehicles.

Pack replaces Jim Johnson, who is retiring from the company.

Griffith takes over from Executive Chairman Matt O’Leary, who held the CEO role on an interim basis.

The truck engines will be fitted with Westport’s high-pressure direct injection (HPDI) system, using compression-ignition to deliver power and range comparable to a conventional diesel.

Kel Kearns - veteran of Ford Motor Company - has been appointed as CEO of the joint venture.

Karl Deppen has been a member of the Board of Management since 2021 and is responsible for Daimler Truck Asia, including the Chinese,  Japanese and Indian markets where Daimler is primarily represented by its Mitsubishi Fuso, BharatBenz and the RIZON truck brands. 

Van den Oetelaar will be replacing Patrick Dean, who will leave to the U.S. to take up the position of Director of Paccar Electronics.
