Continuous development in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems aboard the Mercedes-Benz Actros has led to improved safety, Daimler Trucks AG announced last month.

Daimler Trucks of Stuttgart, the truck division of Daimler AG, says its global truck sales (which includes the Mercedes-Benz, Fuso, Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses and BharatBenz brands) in 2018 will exceed half a million units compared with 470,000 units in 2017.
