Scania do Brasil Ltda has said it is forecasting continued market growth across all industrial areas in which it participates (trucks, buses, services and industrial, marine and power generation engines) in 2019.

Daimler Buses has reported major sales growth, selling 30,900 buses and chassis worldwide, which is an increase of 2,200 units compared with 28,700 units in 2017.

Kögel Trailer GmbH, a semi-trailer manufacturer and sister company of Humbaur GmbH, recorded revenues of EUR530m in 2018, an increase of 17% on EUR450m in 2017.

Bosch Group has reported preliminary figures indicating its financial performance indices in 2018 were equal to its 2017 performance despite losses of EUR2.1bn attributed to currency exchange rates.

Motor and fan manufacturer, Ziehl-Abegg, has announced it has achieved another year of higher than average growth with sales increasing by 8.1% to EUR584m (provisional) compared with EUR540m in 2017.

School bus builder, Blue Bird Corporation, has reported revenues for fiscal year ending September 29, 2018 of USD1.025bn, an increase of USD34.4m or an increase of 3.5% compared with USD990.6m during the prior fiscal year.

While total orders received increased slightly, currency effects resulted in revenues being slightly decreased at GBP4.29n in fiscal year ending September 31, 2018 at the industrial power transfer engineering group, Voith Group, when compared with the previous fiscal year of GBP4.37bn.

Wrights Group Ltd has reported a group turnover of GBP227,157,000  (GBP227m) for the year ending December 2017 (2016: GBP264m) and profit (before tax) of GBP1.5m (2016: GBP10m).

The Krone Group reported record revenues exceeding EUR2.1bn for its financial year 2017/2018 ending on July 31, 2018 and which also marked a significant increase over the previous year’s result of EUR1.9bn.

Bus builder, Caio Induscar Ltda, has announced it is in the process of exporting 148 Mondego City bus models on Mercedes-Benz Euro VI chassis to Buses Vule, an operator providing services to the Transantiago Transport system in Santiago de Chile.
