The partnership, bringing together ZF’s expertise in driveline component design and integration and FST’s fuel cell technology and battery knowhow, will produce complete fuel-cell electric drive systems for easy integration in a truck, bus or coach.

UK supermarket giant, Sainsburys, has begun trials of the truck as part of the Tees Valley Hydrogen Vehicle Project using the hydrogen refuelling station at the Teesside international airport.
