GreenCell Mobility is set to run its first intercity bus, under the brand name NueGo, for Maharashtra Regional State Transport (MSRTC), along the route between Pune and Admednagar, on June 1, 2022.

Enviro200 buses from Alexander Dennis Ltd have taken part in a pilot on-road autonomous passenger-less scheme, ahead of operations with passengers that are scheduled for later this year. Bus operator Stagecoach has been conducting the passenger-less tests over the course of two weeks

Robert Bosch GmbH is set to acquire Five AI Ltd, a start-up specialising in autonomous driving software based in Cambridge, UK. The acquisition adds to Bosch’s autonomous mobility portfolio following the announcement that it was acquiring German firm Altatec GmbH earlier in April of this year.

Allison Transmission Inc and Hyzon Motors Inc have been selected to provide the propulsion system for the UK’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered refuse truck. Aberdeen City council has chosen to pair a 250kW Hyzon electric motor with Allison’s 3000 Series transmission in conjunction with a 45kW hydrogen fuel cell.

Soell will lead Proterra Transit, the business unit responsible for the production and marketing of electric transit buses.
