The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has announced that Sigrid de Vries will assume the position of ACEA Director General on September 1st 2022. In this role, she will manage the association that unites Europe’s 16 major car, truck, van, and bus makers in the EU.

London-based BEDEO has announced that Dr. Herbert Demel will join its advisory board as a strategic advisor, effective immediately. Demel has previously served as CEO of Audi AG, Magna Steyr, and FIAT Auto, as well as President at VW do Brasil and Robert Bosch GmbH.

Rochester, New York-based Hyzon Motors Inc has announced the appointment of Samuel Chong to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Chong will succeed Mark Gordon who had held the position since August 2020.

CVG has announced two new appointments to its executive team. Jeffrey Tritapoe will take a newly created role as Senior Vice President of Operations, and Daniel Mehringer will serve as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development.
