President Transnet Corporation, a leading Taiwanese logistics company, is the first company in the country to commit to the eCanter in advance of its official launch in the country early next year. The company operates one of the largest truck fleets in the country which includes close to 1,700 Fuso units.

The first Quester was launched in 2013 in Thailand and the model is now available in 46 countries across four continents.

The investment will target Coherent’s silicon carbide unit, which will be separated into an independent subsidiary named Silicon Carbide LLC. This investment gives Denso a 12.5% non-controlling equity stake in Silicon Carbide LLC and most importantly secures access to and supply of SiC wafers for its electric components.
