The commercial vehicle market in Colombia continues to record steady growth: In the first nine months of the year registrations increased by 17.5% to 30,060 units compared with 25,590 in the same period last year, according to data released by Andemos (National Association for Sustainable Mobility).

The Colombian truck and bus market ended the first half of the year up 18.2% against the same period in 2021, according to figures released by ANDEMOS (National Association for Sustainable Mobility), based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Truck sales grew by 112.1% in the first nine months of 2021 over the same period of the previous year, with 24,090 units sold (compared to 11,334), according to ANDEMOS.

Bus and coach sales in Colombia saw a 24.1% decrease to register 1,547 in comparison with 2,037 with the previous year, according to ANDEMOS.

Truck sales in Colombia rebounded strongly during the first half of 2021. According to data from the National Association for Sustainable Mobility (ANDEMOS) in Bogotá, the market registered 14,258 trucks for January to June 2021, an increase of 115.2% on the 6,626 units registered in the same period of 2020.
