NFI will be offering a battery recycling service to all of its North American customers - the deal applies to all of its subsidiaries. This is an extension of a pilot programme between NFI subsidiary New Flyer and Li-Cycle launched earlier this year.

Electric CV manufacturer Lightning eMotors, based in Loveland, Colorado, has completed its first order for the Canadian commercial vehicle market. Lightning delivered ten electric cargo vans to the Goodfood Market Corp. in Montreal, Canada.

Canadian bus manufacturer Letenda Inc., based in Longueuil, Quebec, has announced that Cummins Inc. of Columbus, Indiana, will provide the electric powertrain for its new Electrip transit bus for North American markets.
