The Lion Electric Co, based in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, has announced it has made two new key appointments for the roles of Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, as well as General Manager of its new Joliet, Illinois manufacturing plant.

The Lion Electric Company has received a conditional purchase order for 200 fully electric Lion-C school buses for use in Southern Ontario.

EV builder The Lion Electric Co. of Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, has announced it has received a conditional purchase order of 1,000 electric LionC school buses from Student Transportation of Canada (STC), a subsidiary of Student Transportation of America.

Special vehicle body builder Demers Ambulances, based in Beloeil, Quebec, and The Lion Electric Co. of Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, have unveiled the Demers eFX Ambulance, which they claim is the first all-electric purpose-built ambulance.

12 charging stations with a total power of 260kW will be installed to support an initial deployment of 10 buses from Lion Electric in September.
