As part of its e-mobility roadmap, MAN Truck & Bus, has begun sales of its 18 metre electric city bus, the MAN Lion’s City 18 E.

December saw MAN Truck & Bus SE hand over the first two Lion’s City E buses to Hamburger Hochbahn AG and Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH.

CV builder, MAN Truck & Bus SE, operator Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg Holstein and automotive giant, Volkswagen AG are involved in a joint research project to evaluate the potential of ‘used’ or ‘second-life’ batteries as a way of storing electricity.
