Kyocera Corp, based in Kyoto, has announced a plan to build the largest manufacturing facility it has ever operated in Japan, expanding production capacity for semiconductors. The company stated that a primary motivator in the expansion is the growing demand for components for ADAS systems and sensors used in new vehicles.

Kenworth Truck Co has broken ground on a USD45 million, 105,000 sq ft expansion to its Chillicothe manufacturing site in Ohio. The expansion represents around a 17% increase to the 622,000 sq ft Class 8 truck manufacturing plant, with the new building housing a new test building on the north side of the plant.

ChargePoint Holdings Inc has announced the closing of its previously announced USD300 million investment through the purchase of convertible senior notes by funds managed by Antara Capital LP. The gross proceeds from the sale of the notes were approximately USD300 million prior to deducting fees and estimated offering expenses.
