The state government of Western Australia, together with the federal government, is committing AUD125m towards the manufacture of buses on the BZL Electric chassis in Perth.

This vehicle is Switzerland's first driverless public transport vehicle, set to operate on a 2.2-kilometre route in Arbon at a speed of 30 km/h.

The bus was commissioned by the country’s largest bus operator, Dota S.A. This electric bus is part of the city's broader plan to reduce carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Founded in 2020, Volt Mobility provides long-term secured leases for commercial electric vehicles, from last-mile delivery vans to long haulage trucks, to clients in the Persian Gulf region.

The order consists of 500 diesel and gas trucks and 300 battery electric trucks.
