ABB Power Products and Systems India Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ashok Leyland Ltd to conduct trials of Hitachi ABB’s electric bus flash charging system, the first of which will take place on the University campus at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

The Lion Electric Company, manufacturer of all-electric medium and heavy-duty urban vehicles, has been successful in using its electric school buses to supply electricity back to the grid, as part of the company’s vehicle-to-grid (V2G) pilot deployment in White Plains.
