The order consists of 11-, 12- and 18-metre electric buses, set to be delivered next year.

President Transnet Corporation, a leading Taiwanese logistics company, is the first company in the country to commit to the eCanter in advance of its official launch in the country early next year. BYD says it plough USD 580 million into a new factory on the premises of an old Ford facility in Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil which closed in January 2021. This mid-sized low-floor urban city electric bus has been developed for the European bus market. The bus ranges from 8.7 to 9 metres and builds on the 12-metre Higer Azure series imported by the Harris Group in Ireland.

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to make available locally-produced electric trucks in the Indonesian market under the NTBK brand.
