From November 2022 Scania Latin America Ltda oplans to place the Scania P280 gas-powered truck - designed specifically for operations in Brazil’s sugar cane segment - on the market as part of its strategy to offer low carbon solutions in Brazil.

Munhoz will report to Mats Gunnarsson, executive vice president of global commercial operations, who is based at the headquarters in Sweden.

Scania has sold 124 R410 CNG trucks to Brazilian haulier, Reiter Transport and Logistics, in a sale worth BRL100m.
