The first port of call was establishing a factory in the Manisa Organised Industrial Zone, in Manisa, Turkey.

Executives claimed that they have an annual production capacity of 5,000 buses and a strategy to target the Middle Eastern and African markets.

The partners plan to initially invest a combined USD2.64bn to build a facility with a production capacity of 21 gigawatt hours (GWh) of batteries per year for commercial and industrial vehicle applications.
