Hyzon announced plans for a two-vehicle commercial trial with New Zealand’s largest truck operator, the TR Group, beginning in March 2024. Hyzon will power two FCEVs, fitted with its single-stack 200kW fuel cell system which will be deployed for three months.

The new FL and FE Electric trucks can be ordered now, with deliveries beginning in the first half of next year.

According to Fruehauf, “these 70 cubic yard capacity tippers are specified with remote-controlled weigh loaders and electric easy sheets, both of which can be operated by the driver from inside the cab.”

Seating 75 passengers, these double-deckers are built on a BYD chassis and driveline.

The bus rolled off the production line in Czech Republic at Iveco’s Vysoke Myto plant, one of Europe’s largest bus manufacturing facilities.
