Currently, the multinational is retreading more than one million of its commercial vehicle tyres a year throughout its retread plants/subsidiaries worldwide. This all falls below the ContiLifeCycle* sustainable strategy, aiming to maximise tyre longevity for customers and improve environmental sustainability.

This will make it one of the largest such projects in France, producing enough energy to supply the average consumption of 17,500 people.

This involves implementation of comprehensive annual sales, maintenance and service contracts by dedicated Tata service teams.

The delivery is part of a mega order in May 2022 for 5,450 electric buses: with DTC taking 1,500 units.

The steel will be produced using SSAB’s ‘Hybrit’ technology, developed over the past seven years together with state-owned mining and energy companies, LKAB and Vattenfall AB.

This will encompass its EV chargers (inductive and DC fast chargers), mobile chargers, related infrastructure and the management software for these charging solutions.
