Electric-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer, GreenPower Motor Company Inc, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has appointed Peterson Trucks Inc as its official school bus dealer in the state of Oregon, with plans to expand throughout the USA.

The Ebusco 3.0 18-metre articulated city bus is designed for urban and regional transport operations and has a capacity for 150 passengers. It is powered with a choice of cobalt-free LFP 350+ and 500+ kWh battery packs, offering a range of up to  700 km.

The 327,000-sq-ft factory is now open and is producing not only batteries but drivetrains and other “ancillary equipment” such as high voltage junction boxes.

ADL will supply Transport for Greater Manchester with 50 low-emission electric double-deckers.
