Warwick-based Dennis Eagle Ltd has launched a new battery electric 4x2 refuse vehicle, named the eCollect. This is the second configuration of eCollect, smaller than the original 6x2 model. The new variant is fitted with three battery packs instead of five.

Stellantis will produce the new range of LCVs, including diesel and battery-electric drivelin options, at its Polish and Italian plants, and then supply them to TME.

Turin, Italy-based Iveco Group NV has announced it intends to resume bus production in Italy. The firm intends to assemble hydrogen fuel cell and battery-electric buses at the Iveco plant in Foggia, southern Italy, with alternative propulsion systems produced in Turin.

20 LF Electric rigid trucks from Eindhoven-based DAF Trucks N.V. have begun testing as part of the Battery Electric Truck Trial (BETT), funded by the Department for Transport (DfT).
