The Philippines market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw grew by 10% to 33,704 units year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2024 after declining by 10% to 30,748 units a year earlier.

The Malaysian commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw declined by 11% to 19,379 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 21,804 in the same period of the previous year.

The Indonesian market for commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw bounced by 10% year-on-year to 37,677 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 after plunging by 29% to 34,126 units a year earlier.

Japan’s commercial vehicle market over 2 tons gvw shrank by 11% to 80,450 units in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 90,750 units in the same period of the previous year.

Sales of commercial vehicles over 2 tons gvw in East Asia’s seven main markets, excluding China, declined by 16% to 268,373 in the fourth quarter of 2024 from 319,099 units a year earlier.
