JMCG, headquartered in Nanchang in China’s Jiangxi province, mainly operates in the commercial vehicle segment, producing a wide range of light-duty trucks and buses - including pickup trucks under the JMC brand.

‘Terberg Tractors Polska’ will be based in a former truck dealership which is now occupied by sister company ‘Terberg Matec Polska’, which sells Terberg’s refuse collection equipment.

Kia is currently building a new plant in South Korea’s Gyeonggi province dedicated to the production of battery-powered PBVs of various sizes and specifications.

The company confirmed that the first batch of trucks have been delivered to TruKKer, a digital-based logistics company operating in the Middle East.

The T9 is targeted at the high end of the pickup segment and features high specification levels, including advanced driver assistance systems.

Güliz Şengör, Marketing Communications Manager at Karsan told T&BB: “We are planning to introduce our e-ATA Class II version to the market in 2025, derived from our existing 12-metre e-ATA Class I model.”

According to its trials so far, the hybrid system helps extend the range of the Hiace by 20%, increasing it to 250 km compared with models powered solely by a hydrogen engine.

The 12-metre low-entry Ikarus 120e has an 86-passenger capacity in a 3-door configuration. The 314 kWh LFP battery pack allows for a range of up to 350km (217 miles) on a single charge.
