The Malaysian government mandated that all diesel fuels for commercial vehicles comply with Euro V specifications as of April 1, 2021.

An initial production run of 400 models is now being delivered to dealerships across North America, including day cab and sleeper models.

The ‘S.CU dc85’ is the latest model in Schmitz’s range of diesel-powered refrigeration units and is intended to replace the company’s current “top” model, the ‘S.CU 2.0’.

Thanks to tweaks made to the engine, gearbox, and axles, as well as fitting class A+ tyres as standard, these trucks boast reduced fuel consumption of up to 3%.
